Dr. David Wacker is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at The University of Iowa.  He has maintained NIH funding for both applied (telehealth) and translational (behavioral persistence) studies for over 30 years.  Dr. Wacker was the director of a large outpatient clinic for children and adults with developmental disabilities who displayed severe problem behavior.  He is the former Editor of JABA and is a Fellow in ABAI and APA (Divisions 25 and 33).  Dr. Wacker is the 2016 recipient of the Don Hake Award for translational research from Division 25.
